"Power Gig: Rise of the SixString" è un nuovo videogioco musicale sviluppato da Seven45 Studios che si prefigge lo scopo di dare uno scossone al mondo dei videogiochi musicali, ormai dominati dai titoli "Guitar Hero" e "Rock Band": la verà novità portata da "Power Gig: Rise of the SixString" è la presenza di un controller fedele in tutto e per tutto ad una vera chitarra elettrica a sei corde.
Il controller infatti non è solamente un aggeggio con il quale giocare bensì può addirittura essere utilizzato come una vera chitarra, essendo dotato di acustica ed uscita jack; il gioco arriverà in ottobre per Xbox 360 e Playstation 3 ed offrirà una tracklist con nomi di grosso calibro quali Black Sabbath, Korn, Disturbed, Rage Against The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age, Mastodon, Disturbed e molti molti altri.
